Postcards (used & unused) to help Sudan

A charity in Salisbury Diocese collects and sells these postcards to raise funds to train clergy to work in the remote villages which helps to bring peace. The Church is having success where the government has failed. Our four Parishes have collected over 800 postcards to date. Can we make this 1,000 before the end of April? Pam Mills 892261

About the Mothers' Union.

The Mothers Union is a charity working at home and abroad. We are a diverse group of people of

all ages that meet once a month at 2:30 on a Tuesday in Marshfield Church Hall.

Our aim is to perpetuate the life long work of Mary

Summer. She was a dynamic woman who gave her life working to give families in her community

a better quality of life.

This year the Mother’s Union have an interesting programme and would welcome visitors to come

and have a chat with a cup of tea to discover what the Mothers get up to on a Tuesday afternoon.

Please contact Angela Jones at the Old School House for any further details.

A most enjoyable April 2010 meeting was held at Tily Towers in North Wraxall

at the kind information of Pastor Alan Proctor and Mrs Muriel Proctor.
